Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
wordoverflows is designed to be played without an account and with as little data collection as possible. This page explains what is — and isn’t — stored when you play.
No accounts, no personal data
You don’t sign up or log in to play wordoverflows, and we don’t ask for your name, email, or any other personal information. We don’t build a profile on you.
Data stored on your device
wordoverflows saves a few things in your browser’s local storage so the game works the way you expect — for example your best score, daily streak, and preferences. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Analytics and advertising
wordoverflows does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future, we will update this policy to describe what those services collect and how to opt out, before they are enabled.
Children’s privacy
wordoverflows does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
